How do I get started?
Call (541) 241-6413 to schedule a free 15-minute phone consultation. The consultation is a brief conversation to clarify what you're looking for, answer questions, and determine whether it's a good fit. It's not a therapy session or an evaluation.
Do you offer in-person sessions, or only telehealth?
At this time, I am only accepting telehealth clients. I am licensed to work with clients located in Oregon, Washington, and California at the time of sessions. Virtual sessions are available to fit demanding and/or unpredictable schedules.
Who do you work with?
I provide individual therapy for adults. Many of my clients are high-functioning professionals and first responders who are used to being the steady one. As needed, I may include a partner or family member within the context of individual treatment when clinically appropriate.
How much does a session cost?
The session fee is $225 per individual session.
Do you take insurance?
I currently accept PacificSource (commercial and OHP) and Blue Cross. Clients are responsible for verifying benefits and coverage directly with their insurance provider.
What is EMDR?
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a structured therapy method that helps the brain fully process distressing experiences that still feel "stuck." As the brain reprocesses the memory, the emotional charge typically decreases, so reminders feel less intense and your reactions become easier to manage. People often use EMDR for trauma, difficult past experiences, and patterns that keep showing up in the present despite insight and effort.
I offer trauma-focused therapy and can incorporate EMDR when appropriate or by request.
Do I need to be in crisis to start therapy?
No. You don't need to be in crisis to start. Most clients waited a long time because things weren't "bad enough" yet.
If you are experiencing a mental health emergency, call or text 988 (the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) or call 911.
How quickly will I hear back?
Emails are typically returned within 1-2 business days. Phone messages are typically returned as my schedule allows.
